Overview
WorkflowIQ is a Microsoft Excel add-in that can connect to Google Sheets at your request. This policy explains what information WorkflowIQ accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information WorkflowIQ Accesses
When you choose to connect WorkflowIQ to Google, you will be asked to sign in and grant permission. WorkflowIQ may access:
- Google account information needed to authenticate (via Google OAuth)
- Google Sheets data that you explicitly choose to open, read, write, or update within the add-in
- If enabled/required for features: limited Google Drive data needed to locate or create spreadsheet files (for example, file names/IDs and permissions related to the spreadsheets you use)
How WorkflowIQ Uses Information
WorkflowIQ uses Google access only to provide the features you request, such as reading from or writing to Google Sheets. WorkflowIQ does not use your Google data for advertising.
Data Storage
WorkflowIQ stores Google authorization tokens on your computer to keep you signed in between sessions. This token storage is local to your device (for example, within your Windows user profile/AppData). WorkflowIQ does not intentionally transmit your tokens to our servers.
Data Sharing
WorkflowIQ does not sell your data. WorkflowIQ shares data only with Google APIs as required to perform the operations you request.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information used by WorkflowIQ. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Your Choices and Controls
You can revoke WorkflowIQ’s access at any time from your Google Account settings (Security → Third-party access). You can also remove locally stored authorization data by deleting WorkflowIQ’s local Google authorization/token folder on your computer.
